An introduction

I reside in Fresno County, CA. I am a happily married man and we have a son who is 5 months old. I am a graduate of California State University, Fresno where I earned my bachelor’s degree in Accountancy.

I’m currently running for one of seven open seats in District 5 of the Fresno County Republican Central Committee.

I want to bring constitutionally limited government back to the forefront of everyday politics and conversation. I believe the oath sworn to the Constitution is not something to be taken lightly and We The People must ensure that those in public office do not veer from the constitution.

My brand of conservatism is focused in fiscal policy because I believe the greatest threat to America is the increasingly dangerous national debt. Our country must have a strong monetary policy to ensure the continuous strength of the US dollar. One of the highest national priorities must be paying down the debt and preventing it from growing through balanced budgets, fiscal restraint and REAL spending cuts. As these are needed cuts they are not addressing the very serious issue of spending outside of our country’s means. Those who are republican congress members continue to propose budget cuts which are nothing more than reductions of future spending increases. Whereas the democratic congress members continue to promote the idea that our budget and debt problem will vanish if they can increase taxes on the wealthy. These both are obviously not the solution as they are only attempting to cover a major wound with a band-aid. Regardless of any cuts to the future budget increases and no matter how much we increase taxes on any one segment of our population, this will not cure the disease of spending.

The current form of our ever-expansive government is a threat to our freedoms and liberties. The continuation of legislative and executive branches of the government ignoring our constitution and jamming laws down citizen’s throats that infringe on our Bill of Rights will only lead to the erosion of our freedoms.

What will America become without freedom granted to each and every citizen?

“The two enemies of the people are criminals and government, so let us tie the second down with the chains of the Constitution so the second will not become the legalized version of the first.” ― Thomas Jefferson
